Goddess Nut
Egyptian coffins fit together like Russian nesting dolls, with one resting inside the other, enclosing the mummy in layers of physical and magical protection (1).
The coffins are decorated with elaborate depictions of the lives of those inside as well as images of gods for protection. Almost all the coffins have an image of a winged goddess, Nut. She is the goddess of the sky. See if you can spot her. Look for this drawing on the outer coffin of Henettawy.
